Prevent Crashes from Thread-Unsafe Modded Generators

How the Mod Protects You

Parallel World Streamer Mod includes built-in detection for thread-unsafe terrain generators from other mods. When it identifies a generator that isn't safe to run in parallel, it automatically contains that generator to run on a single thread instead, preventing crashes while still benefiting from parallel processing elsewhere.

Recognize When Containment Occurs

Check your logs for warnings about contained generators. These messages indicate that a specific mod's terrain generation is being isolated to prevent thread-safety issues. This is normal and expected—the mod handles it transparently. Your world will still generate correctly, though that particular generator won't benefit from parallelization.

Report Persistent Issues

If you experience crashes during world generation despite the mod's protections, note which mods are active. Some heavily modified terrain systems may have edge cases the mod doesn't catch. Documenting which mod combinations cause problems helps improve detection in future updates.
