Send a Private Message and Reply to Players

Starting a Private Conversation

Private messages let you chat with another player without everyone seeing your message. Use the /msg command followed by the player's name and your message:

/msg PlayerName Your message here

`

The message will appear only to that player and you. They'll see a notification that you've messaged them.

Replying to Messages

When someone sends you a private message, you'll see it in your chat. To reply without typing their name again, use:

`

/reply Your response here

`

This automatically sends your message back to whoever messaged you last, saving time during quick conversations.

Tips

Make sure you spell the player's name correctly—the command is case-sensitive on most servers. If a player has you muted or ignored, your message may not go through. Private messages are logged by the server for moderation purposes, so keep them appropriate.
