Fixing the PaperDoll Not Appearing or Overlapping Other HUD Elements
A missing or hidden doll is usually a placement or conflict problem, not a broken install.
The doll is invisible
Check the config first: some setups let you toggle the doll off entirely, so make sure it is enabled. Then check its position values — if the offset pushes it off-screen, it will render outside the visible area and you will see nothing. Reset position to a default corner and confirm it appears. If you recently changed GUI scale or resolution, the doll may have shifted; re-check the offset after any display change. Finally, confirm the mod loaded at all by looking for it in your mods list.
The doll overlaps other HUD
Move the doll to a corner with the least traffic. Common conflicts are the hotbar (bottom center), health and hunger (bottom), and minimap mods (usually top corners). If a minimap already occupies your preferred corner, either move the doll to the opposite corner or shrink it so both fit. Chat sits at the bottom left, so avoid that area if you keep chat open. If another mod draws a solid panel, the doll may render behind or in front of it depending on draw order — you cannot reorder that from PaperDoll's config, so relocate the doll instead. Test in a safe area before relying on the new layout in combat.
