Discovering Hidden Temples and Smaller Pyramids
Locating Secondary Structures
Beyond the King Pyramid, Panas contains multiple smaller pyramids and temple buildings scattered throughout the city. These are often found in specific districts: look for stepped pyramids with blue block accents and temple buildings featuring prominent pillars.
Where to Search
- Desert areas - Between main buildings and along outer edges
- Walled compounds - Enclosed sections with their own pyramid structures
- Near the gardens - Temple buildings often stand adjacent to cultivated areas
- Flame-surrounded pyramids - Dark pyramids in isolated desert zones (approach carefully for atmosphere)
Exploration Tips
These secondary structures are often smaller and easier to fully explore than the King Pyramid. They frequently contain decorative elements like pillars, colored blocks, and detailed stonework. Use the outer walls and watchtowers as landmarks to orient yourself—they're visible from many points in the city. Each temple or pyramid reflects different architectural styles, so comparing them reveals the builder's design variety. These structures are perfect for shorter exploration sessions between larger expeditions.
