Packtrix applies its visual improvements automatically when installed. Start by opening your video settings to explore the included shader options—each provides different realistic lighting styles suited to your preference and hardware.

As you explore, you'll notice enhanced textures on every block and fluid, with connected patterns on glass, stone, and building materials that blend seamlessly together. Dyed blocks like wool, concrete, and terracotta display distinct color variations.

Venture into caves to see the full effect: ores and torches emit their own light, illuminating the darkness without torches. Grass edges on hillsides create natural-looking terrain transitions. The mod balances these visual upgrades with performance optimization, so you can enjoy realistic lighting and detailed textures without sacrificing frame rate.
