Customize the Hotbar Flower Colors
Editing the Texture File
The Overgrown Flowery Hotbar Resource Pack stores its hotbar textures in the assets/minecraft/textures/gui/ folder. To change flower colors, you'll need to edit the hotbar texture file directly.
1. Locate your resource pack folder in .minecraft/resourcepacks/
2. Open the pack and navigate to assets/minecraft/textures/gui/
3. Find the hotbar texture file (typically named widgets.png or similar)
4. Open it in an image editor like Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint.NET
5. Locate the flower and vine sections of the hotbar graphic
6. Adjust colors using your editor's color tools—hue, saturation, and brightness sliders work well for recoloring flowers while preserving shading
7. Save the file in PNG format to preserve transparency
8. Reload your resource pack in-game by pressing F3 + T (or navigating to resource pack settings)
Testing Your Changes
After editing, create a new world or load an existing one to see your custom colors applied to the hotbar. If colors don't appear, verify the file was saved correctly and that your resource pack is loaded above other GUI packs in your resource pack list.
