Getting Started with Realistic Spiders

What This Mod Does

This mod resizes Minecraft spiders to be much smaller and more proportional to real-world spider sizes. Instead of the vanilla spider being nearly half your character's height, realistic spiders are now significantly smaller.

Gameplay Changes

The smaller spider size affects combat and behavior. These reduced-size spiders move more slowly than their vanilla counterparts and deal less damage per hit. This makes encounters with spiders less punishing while maintaining them as a threat.

The mod is purely visual and mechanical—it doesn't add new spider types or change spawning rates. If you want a less intimidating cave experience or simply prefer spiders at a more realistic scale, this mod accomplishes exactly that.
