Ortho Camera Mod Guide

Using the Orthographic View

Minecraft normally renders the world in perspective, so distant objects look smaller than nearby ones. This mod adds an orthographic view mode where everything on screen appears at the same scale, giving a flat, map-like look at your surroundings.

Open the config screen from ModMenu or with the mod's hotkey. There you can toggle the orthographic view, adjust the camera scale on the X and Y axes separately, and set the minimum and maximum view distance. You can also choose whether the enabled state is saved between client restarts.

Hotkeys let you switch the orthographic view on and off and zoom in or out without opening the config. Because the frustum is configurable, you can tune how much of the world is visible and how it is framed. Experiment with the axis scales to get the look you want.
