How to Use Arachnid Webshot for Mobility
Shooting and Aiming Your Web
As an Arachnid, your webshot is your primary mobility tool. To use it, look at a block or mob you want to pull toward and activate your webshot ability. The web will launch in the direction you're facing and attach to solid surfaces or mobs.
Practical Movement Techniques
Webshot works best when you have a clear line of sight to your target. You can use it to:
- Scale vertical surfaces by shooting webs at blocks above you and pulling upward
- Cross gaps by targeting blocks on the opposite side
- Escape danger by webbing to a nearby structure while being chased
- Pull toward mobs during combat for quick repositioning
The web will retract after a short time if you don't use it, so plan your shots carefully. Webshot works through transparent blocks like glass and leaves, making it useful for navigating forests and buildings.
Combat Applications
Combine webshot with your poison attacks for devastating hit-and-run tactics. Pull toward an enemy, strike with your poisoned attacks, then web away to safety. Your ability to mine at full speed while wall-climbing means you can also create escape routes by breaking through wooden structures mid-chase.
