Choose the Right Edition for Your Playstyle

Understanding the Three Editions

Ore Plus Mod offers three power levels, each suited to different goals:

x2 Edition provides a subtle boost—roughly double the ore frequency of vanilla Minecraft. This is ideal if you want a smoother early-game progression without trivializing resource gathering. You'll still need to mine and explore, but you won't go long without finding coal, iron, or copper.

x4 Edition quadruples ore spawn rates, significantly accelerating your access to mid-tier resources like diamonds and gold. Choose this if you want to focus on building and exploration rather than grinding for ores.

Ultra Edition delivers the most aggressive boost, pushing ore generation to near-maximum limits. It also expands the vertical range where ores spawn from Y=0 to Y=256, ensuring ores appear throughout the entire world height. Use Ultra if you want abundant resources immediately or are playing on a server where resource scarcity would slow progression.

Making Your Choice

Consider your goals: casual building favors x2, survival balance favors x4, and creative/relaxed play favors Ultra. You can always switch editions in a new world if your current setting doesn't match your playstyle.
