How to Start Growing Crystal Clusters

Finding Your First Ore

Crystal clusters grow on ore blocks, so your first step is locating ores in your world. Mine or locate any ore block—iron, copper, gold, diamond, or others supported by the mod. You don't need to break it immediately.

Initiating Cluster Growth

Crystal clusters will begin to form on the ore's surface over time. The growth process is passive—you don't need to do anything special to trigger it. Different ores may grow clusters at different rates.

Harvesting Your First Cluster

When a cluster has fully grown on the ore block, you can harvest it by breaking the cluster itself (not the ore block beneath it). This will drop the corresponding resource without destroying the ore. The ore block remains, allowing new clusters to grow again.

Deciding Your Strategy

Now you face a choice: continue harvesting clusters from this ore for steady resource gain, or mine the ore block directly for immediate resources. Cluster farming rewards patience but provides renewable resource generation, making it ideal for long-term survival.
