Using Your Ore Detector

Once crafted, hold your ore detector and use it to scan the area beneath you. The detector will emit a sound to indicate its findings:

• No sound or negative sound: No ores of that detector's type are nearby underground
• Positive sound: Ores have been detected below your current location

Each detector type is specialized to find specific ores, so you'll need the appropriate detector for the ore you're searching for. Simply craft different detector variants using different materials to expand your ore-hunting capabilities. This makes mining more efficient by confirming ore presence before you start digging.
