Sort Players by Rank or Permission Level

Setting Up Rank-Based Sorting

The Ordered Player List Mod allows you to display players in a custom order based on their rank or permission level. This is useful for servers where you want admins, moderators, and regular players visually separated in the player list.

Configuration Steps

1. Locate your mod's config file (typically in the config folder of your server or client)

2. Open the configuration file in a text editor

3. Find the sorting criteria section and select an option that corresponds to permission levels or custom rank data

4. If your server uses a permission plugin, ensure the mod is configured to read from that plugin's data

5. Save the config file

6. Restart your server or reload the mod

Verification

Open your player list (Tab key by default) and verify that players now appear in the order you specified. Players with higher ranks should appear first, followed by lower-ranked players. If the order doesn't match your expectations, double-check that your config file syntax is correct and that permission data is being properly recognized by the mod.
