Understanding Focus Behavior in GUI Menus
What is GUI Focus?
GUI focus determines which element responds to your mouse and keyboard input. Without this mod, clicking a button or option in a menu would leave it visually highlighted even after you moved your cursor away, creating a confusing visual state that doesn't match your actual interaction.
How This Mod Fixes It
Option Focus Fix Mod automatically removes focus from UI elements the moment your cursor leaves them. This means:
- Buttons return to their normal appearance when you move away
- Dropdown menus don't stay highlighted after selection
- Text fields lose focus when you click elsewhere
- The visual state of the UI always matches where your cursor actually is
Result
Your menu interactions feel more responsive and intuitive. The UI behaves like you'd expect from modern applications—elements only appear active when you're actively interacting with them.
