How to Configure the Mods List and Settings in Optimized FPS Modpack
Open the Mods Menu
From the main menu or the pause menu, click the Mods button. This lists every installed mod in the pack. Each entry can typically be clicked to view its description, and many optimization mods expose their own configuration screen through a config button on that entry.
What Is Worth Changing
Most performance mods in a pack like this are designed to work well with default settings, so avoid changing things you do not understand. The settings most worth reviewing are:
- Rendering options that trade visual quality for frame rate.
- Memory or caching options, if the mod exposes them.
- Any toggle that enables or disables an optimization entirely, useful for troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting With the Mods Menu
If you suspect a specific mod is causing a crash or visual glitch, disable it from this menu, restart the game, and see whether the problem persists. Re-enable mods one at a time to isolate the culprit. Keep notes on what you changed, because it is easy to forget which toggle you flipped several sessions ago. If a mod's config screen has a reset-to-default button, use it before reporting a problem — a stray setting is a common cause of unexpected behavior.
