How to See Other Players' Emotes on Vanilla Servers

Understanding Cross-Compatibility

Online Emotes Mod is designed as an add-on to Emotecraft that enables emote visibility even on vanilla servers where not all players have the mod installed. This works through client-side rendering—your game displays emotes locally without requiring server-side support.

Requirements for Seeing Emotes

You must have both Emotecraft and Online Emotes Mod installed on your client. Other players performing emotes must also have at least Emotecraft installed; Online Emotes Mod enhances compatibility but isn't strictly required for them.

Troubleshooting Missing Emotes

If you're not seeing other players' emotes:

  • Verify both mods are properly installed and loaded
  • Check that the other player is within render distance
  • Ensure your mod configuration hasn't disabled emote visibility
  • Restart your client if emotes suddenly stop appearing

Note that emotes are purely visual and cosmetic—they won't cause any gameplay issues or desynchronization on vanilla servers.
