How to Perform an Emote in Multiplayer

Opening the Emote Menu

Press the emote menu keybind (default is typically a configurable key in your controls settings). This opens a radial or list-based menu displaying all available emotes.

Selecting and Playing Your Emote

Navigate through the menu using your mouse or keyboard to highlight the emote you want to perform. Click or press the confirm key to execute it. Your character will play the animated emote, and all players within render distance will see your performance in real-time.

Tips for Multiplayer Emoting

  • Emotes are visible to other players on the same server, making them perfect for non-verbal communication
  • You can move while performing some emotes, though others lock your character in place
  • Other players' emotes appear above their heads or as full-body animations depending on the emote type
  • Emotes are purely cosmetic and don't affect gameplay or PvP mechanics

If you don't see other players' emotes, ensure both you and they have the mod installed and that you're on a server or world that supports mod content.
