Understanding OneConfig Bootstrap and Its Purpose
What is OneConfig Bootstrap?
OneConfig Bootstrap Mod is a foundational library that enables other mods to use the OneConfig configuration system. It doesn't add gameplay features by itself—instead, it provides the infrastructure that mod developers use to create user-friendly config menus.
Why You Need It
If you're running mods that depend on OneConfig, this bootstrap mod must be installed first. Without it, those dependent mods won't load properly or won't display their configuration options correctly.
What It Does
Once installed, OneConfig Bootstrap:
- Registers the OneConfig library into your game
- Allows compatible mods to access unified config menus
- Provides a standardized way for mods to store and manage settings
- Enables mods to share the same configuration UI system
You won't see new items, blocks, or commands from this mod alone. Instead, you'll notice that mods using OneConfig will have cleaner, more consistent configuration screens when you access their settings.
