Expand Your Island Without Running Out of Blocks

Break the Lucky Block Strategically

The center lucky block is your only renewable resource source. Break it repeatedly and collect all dropped blocks before they despawn. Dirt, stone, wood, and sand are common drops—save these for building. Do not waste valuable blocks on experimental structures.

Build Outward, Not Upward First

Expanding horizontally is safer than building towers. Create a larger platform around your original spot so you have more space to work and store items. This also gives you room to set up multiple workstations.

Stockpile Common Blocks

When the lucky block drops dirt or stone repeatedly, collect it all. These blocks are your foundation for expansion. Create storage areas or organized piles so you know how many blocks you have available.

Use Rare Drops Wisely

When the lucky block gives you rare materials like wood, ores, or special blocks, decide carefully whether to use them for building or crafting. Prioritize crafting better tools, which help you gather resources faster.

Plan Before Building

Decide what shape and size your island should be before placing blocks. This prevents wasting materials on structures you'll tear down later. A simple square or rectangular platform is efficient and easy to expand.
