Create a Farming Area

Once you have dirt blocks, dedicate a section of your island to farming. Flatten an area and place dirt in rows. When the center block drops seeds or crops, plant them immediately. Farming is essential for long-term survival.

Find Water for Crops

The center block will eventually give you water. Place it on your farming level to hydrate your crops. If water is slow to arrive, focus on other survival needs first and return to farming once you have it.

Breed Animals When Possible

If the center block drops animal spawn eggs or animals themselves, create a small pen on your island. Animals provide food and materials like wool and leather. Keep them separate from your farming area to prevent trampling.

Prioritize Renewable Food

Focus on crops and animals over eating random drops. This ensures you always have food available as your island expands and you work longer hours building and mining.
