Prioritize Early Resources for Survival
Start with the Essentials
Your first blocks determine how quickly you can survive. When you break the center block, prioritize collecting:
- Wood – craft tools and a crafting table immediately
- Dirt or grass – expand your platform so you don't fall
- Stone – upgrade your tools once you have wood ones
Build Your Safety Platform First
Before doing anything else, place blocks around the center to create a flat surface at least 3×3. This prevents accidental falls and gives you room to stand while mining. Expand outward gradually as new blocks drop.
Manage Your Inventory
You'll receive many items quickly. Keep your hotbar organized: tools in slots 1–3, building blocks in 4–6, and crafting materials in your inventory. Drop items you don't need yet to make room for critical resources. As your island grows, build a chest to store excess materials.
Watch for Rare Drops
Occasionally the center block yields valuable items like ores or special materials. When these appear, grab them immediately—they won't respawn from the next block.
