Create Permanent Paths with FullPaths

The default behavior of Once Upon A Stroll converts grass to dirt temporarily, and the grass eventually regenerates. If you want to create lasting, permanent pathways through your world, enable the fullPaths option.

Locate the FullPaths Setting

Open your mod configuration file and find the fullPaths option. This setting controls whether paths become permanent or temporary.

Enable Permanent Pathways

Set fullPaths to true. Once enabled, the terrain you walk on will no longer revert to grass—instead, it will maintain the transformed state, creating a visible trail that persists in your world.

Walk Your Desired Route

Simply traverse the areas where you want paths to form. As you walk, the ground will transform into dirt, paths, gravel, or stone depending on the original terrain. These changes are now permanent, giving your world a well-traveled appearance with established routes between your bases and landmarks.

This is ideal for creating realistic roads and frequently-used walkways without manually placing blocks.
