Using the Old Animation in Multiplayer Servers

Client-Side Animation Changes

The Old Shield Animation Mod is a client-side mod, meaning it only affects what you see on your screen. Your shield animations will appear in the old style to you, regardless of what other players see.

Compatibility with Servers

Since this mod only changes animations and does not alter game mechanics, it is safe to use on multiplayer servers that do not explicitly forbid client-side cosmetic mods. The mod does not send modified data to the server or change how shields function in combat.

What Other Players See

Other players on the server will see the default shield animation for their game version, not the old animation. This is because each player's client renders animations independently. Your old animation is local to your game only.

Server Rules

Always check your server's mod policy before installing any mod. Most servers allow cosmetic client-side mods like this one, but it is best to confirm with server administrators if you are unsure.
