Enable or Disable Old Combat in Your World

Using Commands

You can toggle the Old Combat Mod on and off at any time while playing without restarting your world.

1. Open the chat window (T key by default)

2. Type the toggle command to switch the mod's state

3. Press Enter to apply the change

4. A confirmation message will appear in chat

This is useful if you want to temporarily switch back to modern combat mechanics for specific tasks, then return to the old system.

During World Creation

If you prefer to decide before entering your world:

1. Click "Create New World"

2. Look for Old Combat Mod settings in the world creation screen

3. Enable or disable it before generating the world

4. Create your world with your preferred combat system active from the start

Changing the setting during world creation ensures consistency throughout your playthrough and avoids any potential conflicts with already-placed entities or structures.
