Using Mod-Added Decorative Blocks with Relative Placement

Automatic Mod Compatibility

The mod measures item sizes directly, which means decorative blocks from other mods will automatically work with the relative placement system—as long as they're small enough to fit. You don't need special configuration or recipes; just place them like vanilla items.

Testing New Blocks

If you're unsure whether a decorative block from another mod will fit, try placing it in a block space alongside a vanilla item like a flower pot or lantern. If the mod's block is similarly sized, it should shift aside and coexist in the same space.

Mixed Decoration

Combine vanilla items with mod-added decorative blocks to create unique designs. For example, mix modded chains with vanilla lanterns, or pair modded flower pots with vanilla candles. The relative placement system treats all small decorative items equally.

Limitations

Larger decorative blocks won't fit into shared spaces—only small items work. If a mod block is too large, it will occupy its own full block space as normal. Experiment with placement to discover which mod items are compatible with your setup.
