Use Multiple Tools Without Dropping Them

Manage Your Active and Offhand Tools

The holstering system lets you carry two tools simultaneously—one active in your main hand and one stored in your offhand. This is useful when you need quick access to different equipment without opening your inventory.

1. Hold your primary tool (sword, pickaxe, etc.) in your main hand

2. Place a secondary tool in your offhand using the offhand swap key

3. The secondary tool visually holsters on your body

4. Switch between them instantly by pressing the offhand swap key again

5. Your main hand tool goes into the holster while the offhand tool becomes active

Practical Workflow

This setup is ideal for mining (pickaxe in main hand, sword in holster for mobs) or combat (sword active, pickaxe holstered for quick gathering). You avoid the need to constantly open your inventory or drop items. The holstered weapon stays with you visually, making it clear what backup tool you're carrying.
