Make Your Offhand Weapon Appear in a Holster

Equip an Item in Your Offhand Slot

To see the holstering effect, you need to place a weapon or tool in your offhand (second hand). By default, this is done by holding an item and pressing the designated offhand swap key.

1. Hold any sword, pickaxe, axe, or similar tool in your main hand

2. Press your offhand swap key (default: F on most setups) while holding the item

3. The item moves to your offhand slot and visually appears in a holster on your character model

4. Your main hand is now free to use other tools

Viewing Your Holstered Weapon

Once equipped in the offhand, the weapon rests visibly on your character's body rather than floating in front of you. The exact holster position depends on which tool you're carrying—swords, pickaxes, and axes each have their own placement. Walk around and rotate your view to see how your gear is positioned. This works in both first-person and third-person perspectives, though third-person view makes the holster most visible.
