How to Use Odin Mod Highlight, Positional Messages, and Secret Clicked Feedback
Highlight
In /od, open the
Highlight settings. You can enable highlighting for teammates and for starred mobs so they stand out against dungeon terrain. Teammate highlighting is useful in crowded rooms where names blend into the background, while starred mob highlighting helps you spot priority targets instantly. Adjust colors per category so teammates and mobs don't look identical.
Positional Messages
Positional Messages trigger a custom chat line when you enter a defined coordinate range. Set these up for callouts — for example, a message that fires when you reach a specific spot in a room so your team knows your position without you typing. Define the area, then assign the message text. Keep messages short and consistent so they read cleanly in chat.
Secret Clicked Feedback
Enable Secret Clicked to get instant audio and visual confirmation whenever you collect a secret. This removes the guesswork of wondering whether a click registered. If the feedback feels too noisy, you can disable the sound and keep only the visual cue, or vice versa.
Combining Them
Use highlights to spot targets, positional messages to coordinate, and secret feedback to track progress — together they cut down on manual communication during a run.
