Make Forests Look Denser and More Lush
Default Foliage Appearance
By default, tree leaves in Odar is maintain standard Minecraft transparency and thickness. In large forests, this can make the canopy feel sparse or see-through, reducing the sense of a dense woodland.
Enabling the Foliage Add-on
Activate the Foliage add-on to thicken tree leaves and increase their visual density. Leaves will appear more opaque and layered, creating a fuller canopy that blocks more sky and light. This works on all tree types—oak, birch, spruce, jungle, and acacia.
Combining with Other Add-ons
The Foliage add-on stacks well with Random Blocks and Overlay add-ons. You can enable all three simultaneously for a complete visual overhaul: varied ground textures, scattered plants, and thick forest canopies.
Visual Impact
Expect forests to feel more immersive and protective. Shaded areas under dense trees will appear darker and more atmospheric. If you use shader packs, the thicker foliage will interact with dynamic lighting and shadows for even greater depth.
