Ensure Compatibility With Your Installed Mods

Checking Mod Support

Obsidian Interface officially supports several popular mods including Iris Shaders, ModMenu, ReplayMod, and Cloth Config. Before troubleshooting, verify which mods you have installed and whether they're on the compatibility list.

Testing Interface Screens

Load a world and systematically check each interface that your mods add. Open mod menus, configuration screens, and any custom GUIs. If a screen appears with the default grey textures instead of the dark theme, that mod's interface isn't covered by the resource pack.

Resolving Conflicts

If you encounter unstyled interfaces:

  • Ensure Obsidian Interface is positioned above conflicting resource packs in your load order
  • Check that you're using a compatible Minecraft version
  • Verify the mod itself is up to date

For mods not officially supported, the default appearance will show. This is normal and doesn't affect gameplay. Consider reporting compatibility requests on the resource pack's community page if a popular mod remains unsupported.
