Configure Shader Settings for Your Computer

Access the Shader Menu

Press Shift + O (or your configured key) while in-game to open the shader options screen. This menu contains all visual and performance settings.

Choose a Performance Profile

The shader includes four preset profiles designed for different hardware:

  • Potato: Minimal visual effects, lowest performance impact. Use this on older laptops or when you need maximum FPS.
  • Low: Reduced shadows and lighting effects while maintaining decent visuals.
  • Medium: Balanced quality and performance. Recommended for most players.
  • High: Full visual features including enhanced shadows, reflections, and colored lighting. Requires a capable graphics card.

Fine-Tune Individual Settings

After selecting a profile, you can adjust specific options like shadow distance, bloom intensity, and lighting saturation. Changes apply immediately—no restart needed.

Test Performance

After adjusting settings, play for a few minutes in different environments (caves, forests, bright areas) to ensure stable framerates. If you experience stuttering or lag, lower the profile or disable intensive features like shadow quality.
