Verify Baby Mob Textures Are Loading Correctly

If baby mobs still appear with the original textures, confirm the mod is active. Open your pause menu and check that Nursery Refined Mod appears in your mod list. If it's missing, reinstall it to your mods folder.

Test in Single Player

Load a creative world and spawn baby mobs to see the updated textures:

• Use spawn eggs for baby animals (cows, pigs, sheep, wolves, cats, foxes)
• Spawn baby hostile mobs (zombies, husks, drowneds, piglins)
• Look at baby villagers and baby zombie villagers

The new textures should show cleaner facial features and friendlier eyes compared to vanilla. If textures appear unchanged, try restarting your game client completely.

Multiplayer Verification

Join a server and navigate to areas with baby mobs. Since this mod is client-side only, you'll see the refined textures regardless of whether the server has it installed. Other players using vanilla Minecraft will see the original textures—this is normal and expected.
