Create a Dramatic Storm Scene for Screenshots
Position Yourself Strategically
Fly to an elevated location—a tall mountain, hill, or tower—where you can see the full tornado funnel against the sky. Position your camera so the vortex is off-center for compositional balance, with landscape features in the foreground.
Adjust Lighting and Atmosphere
Set the time of day to enhance drama:
- Sunset/sunrise: Golden and orange light creates contrast with dark storm clouds
- Dusk: Deep blue sky makes tornado details pop
- Stormy daytime: Overcast conditions intensify volumetric effects
If your shader options include lighting adjustments, increase ambient shadows to deepen the storm's visual weight.
Maximize Visual Impact
In Shader Options, temporarily boost:
- Cloud density for thicker, more visible storm structure
- Swirl intensity to make the vortex motion more pronounced
- Lighting saturation to emphasize the contrast between sky and tornado
Capture and Reset
Use F2 to screenshot (or your preferred screenshot tool). After capturing, return shader settings to your preferred gameplay values to avoid sustained performance loss.
