How to Explore Nullscape Without Getting Lost or Stranded
Set Up Waypoints
Nullscape's End is vast and vertical, so navigation is the real challenge. Before leaving your arrival point, build a tall marker — a pillar of a distinctive block topped with a torch or glowstone — so you can spot it from far away. Note the coordinates of your portal and any gateway you use.
Manage Your Resources
- Carry more blocks than you think you need; bridging across shattered terrain drains stacks fast.
- Keep a stack of ender pearls for emergency escapes and quick repositioning.
- Bring slow falling potions and feather falling boots — the raised height limit means longer, deadlier falls.
- Do not carry everything you own; if you die in the void, your items are gone permanently.
Plan a Route
Pick a direction and stick to it, using crystallized peaks as landmarks to stay oriented. Climb high to survey before descending into floating valleys, since it is easy to drop into a pit you cannot climb out of. If you get stranded low, pillar straight up with blocks until you reach a ledge or the surface layer.
When to Turn Back
Set a mental limit on blocks or pearls spent. If you run low on bridging materials far from home, head back toward your marker rather than pushing deeper. A safe return beats a lost inventory.
