Set Up Your First Nukkit Server

Initial Configuration

Start by running the Nukkit server jar file. On first launch, it will generate a server.properties file and necessary configuration folders. Open server.properties and configure basic settings:

• Set your desired server name and port (default is 19132)
• Adjust gamemode (Survival, Creative, Adventure)
• Enable or disable PvP
• Set difficulty level
• Configure max players

Starting the Server

Run the server jar again. Players can now connect using your server IP address and the port you configured.

The server will create a worlds folder containing your default world. You can add additional worlds by creating new folders and referencing them in server.properties.

Use console commands like /stop to safely shut down the server. Always stop gracefully to prevent world corruption.
