Placing Profession Icons

Profession icons—such as a magic book for the Mage or a gold sack for the Banker—help players identify NPC services at a glance. These icons are summoned separately from the NPCs themselves using MythicMobs commands. Position them above or near their corresponding NPC.

Using "Near" Animations to Guide Players

Each profession icon includes a "near" animation that activates when players approach. This animation draws attention and clearly indicates the NPC's function. Configure the activation radius in the MythicMobs settings so the animation triggers when players are close enough to interact.

Test the icon placement and animation range to ensure players notice them without the animations being distracting. Icons should be visible but not obstructing the NPC model itself. Combine multiple profession icons in hub areas to create a clear visual guide for your server's shops and services. Adjust icon height and positioning until they align naturally with their NPCs.
