Setting Up and Using an NPC Auction House

Running an Auction House with NPCs

The NPC Auctions Plugin turns an ordinary villager into the center of your server's marketplace. To begin, use the /npca spawnN command to create the special auctioneer NPC. Once placed, this villager acts as a central auction house that any player can walk up to and interact with.

When a player approaches the NPC, a menu opens. From there they can list their own items for sale or browse what other players have listed. Bidding works through the same interface, so anyone can place a bid on items they want. The menu is designed to be clean and straightforward, keeping auction management simple.

Because all trading happens through the auctioneer, players avoid the risks of direct trades and scamming. Sellers list items safely, and buyers bid openly. You can make any villager into an auctioneer, letting you customize where your server's market lives. This centralizes trading and gives your economy a shared hub.
