Changing NoWheel Settings Through Cloth Config or ModMenu

Opening the config screen

NoWheel exposes its options through Cloth Config, which means you can edit them from inside the game rather than hand-editing files. Open the Mods list (via ModMenu if you have it, or your mod loader's built-in mod screen), find NoWheel, and click the config button. Cloth Config renders a proper settings screen with the mod's options laid out as toggles.

What you can change there

  • Whether the scroll wheel is disabled for hotbar switching (the core option).
  • Whether the mod is active at all, effectively a persistent version of the keybind toggle.

Because the config is saved to disk, changes made here survive quitting and relaunching the game — unlike the keybind toggle, which is a temporary runtime flip.

Steps

1. Open the mod list from the main menu or the pause menu.

2. Select NoWheel.

3. Click the config/settings button.

4. Adjust the toggle(s) to your preference.

5. Close the screen; Cloth Config writes the changes automatically.

If there is no config button

That usually means Cloth Config is not installed alongside NoWheel, or you are on a loader where the integration is not present. In that case the mod still works with its defaults, and the keybind toggle remains available as your only in-game control.
