Hunting for Underwater Loot and Resources
Locating Valuable Underwater Items
NoUnderwaterFog Shaders reveals underwater loot that would normally be hidden by fog — sunken chests, ancient debris in deep water, and scattered resources become visible from farther away.
Resource Hunting Technique
1. Equip water breathing via potion or helmet enchantment to stay underwater indefinitely.
2. Swim systematically through ocean biomes in a grid pattern, scanning the seafloor for chest shapes and unusual block formations.
3. Look for shipwreck chests — these appear as wooden structures on the ocean floor and contain valuable loot.
4. Search ocean ruins (small structures with prismarine blocks) for chests and pottery shards.
5. Dive to extreme depths in deep ocean biomes; the fog removal makes deep exploration practical without losing orientation.
6. Mark promising locations with beacons or waypoints so you can return with proper tools.
What to Expect
Shipwrecks contain maps, treasure, and supplies. Ocean ruins hold pottery and prismarine-related items. The shader doesn't change loot tables — only your ability to find structures. Bring a pickaxe for mining blocks and a shovel for sand and gravel on the seafloor.
