The Problem with Repairing Damaged Items

Tools and weapons that have been repaired many times become increasingly expensive to fix. A diamond pickaxe that's been repaired five or six times might cost 40+ levels to repair again, triggering the "Too Expensive!" restriction.

Repair Strategy with This Mod

1. Bring your damaged tool and repair materials to an anvil

2. Place the tool in the left slot and materials in the right slot

3. Check the cost in the output slot

4. If it says "Too Expensive!", drop your tool on the ground and pick it up

5. Try the repair again—it should now work

6. Click the output slot to complete the repair

Maximizing Your Resources

You can repair the same tool multiple times by repeating this process. Each time you hit the "Too Expensive!" limit, simply drop and retrieve the tool to reset its counter. This lets you keep using your favorite tools indefinitely, rather than being forced to craft new ones.
