Building an AFK Fishing Farm for Enchanted Items

Set Up Automatic Fishing

Create a hands-free fishing setup to passively collect enchanted items while you do other tasks.

Basic Farm Design

1. Build a platform 1-2 blocks above water

2. Place a hopper below the platform to collect items

3. Connect the hopper to a chest for storage

4. Ensure the area is well-lit to prevent mobs from spawning

5. Create a roof or walls to protect yourself from weather and mobs

Positioning Your Rod

You'll need to position yourself so your fishing rod casts into the water. Some players use a repeating command block setup or simply stand in one spot and cast repeatedly. The water should be at least 1-2 blocks deep.

Safety Considerations

Make sure your farm is in a safe location away from hostile mobs. Light up surrounding areas thoroughly. Consider building it near your base for easy access to your collected enchanted gear.

Once set up, you can leave your farm running and return periodically to collect valuable enchanted items from your storage chest.
