Troubleshoot Missing Glow Outline

Verify the Mod is Loaded

First, confirm NoHurtFlash is actually running. Check your mod list in the main menu or use a command to verify the mod is present. If it's not listed, reinstall it.

Check Your Configuration

Open the config file and ensure the glow outline is enabled. Look for settings like enable_glow or show_outline and make sure they're set to true.

Test with Vanilla Mobs

Hit a standard mob like a zombie or creeper. If you see no outline at all, the feature may be disabled or misconfigured. Try hitting different mob types—some mods may prevent the outline from appearing on their custom creatures.

Shader Conflicts

If you're using shaders, the glow might be invisible due to rendering conflicts. Try temporarily disabling your shader pack and hitting a mob again. If the outline appears without shaders, your shader pack may need adjustment.

Reset Configuration

If nothing works, delete the config file and let the mod regenerate it with default settings. This often fixes mysterious issues caused by corrupted or outdated configuration values.
