Change the Glow Outline Color

Access the Configuration File

The glow outline color is controlled through the mod's configuration settings. Navigate to your Minecraft config folder and locate the NoHurtFlash configuration file.

Customize Your Outline Color

Open the config file in a text editor. Look for the color setting option—this is typically expressed as a hexadecimal color code or RGB values depending on your mod version.

Common customization options include:

  • Hex color codes (e.g., #FF00FF for magenta)
  • RGB values (e.g., 255, 0, 255)
  • Named colors (e.g., blue, green, yellow)

Apply Your Changes

Save the configuration file and restart Minecraft. The next time you hit a mob, it will display your chosen glow color instead of the default.

Tips

If you play with shaders, test your color choice in-game to ensure it looks good with your specific shader pack. Brighter colors tend to stand out more against dark environments, while darker colors work better in bright areas.
