Identify Which Mod Is Causing Frame Drops

Open the Performance Monitor

Press the mod's keybind (default varies by installation) to open the Node Pulse Monitor overlay. You'll see real-time CPU and GPU usage broken down by mod.

Check Per-Mod CPU and GPU Metrics

Look at the CPU and GPU usage columns. Mods consuming unusually high percentages are likely causing frame drops. GPU usage spikes often correlate with rendering hitches, while CPU spikes suggest logic or tick-related slowdowns.

Cross-Reference with Frame Time Graph

Switch to the frame time graph tab. When you see a spike in frame time (shown as a dip in FPS), check which mod's CPU or GPU usage increased at that exact moment. This direct correlation reveals the culprit.

Isolate the Problem

Once identified, test by temporarily disabling that mod and reloading. If frame drops stop, you've confirmed the source. If multiple mods spike together, they may be conflicting—check mod compatibility or load order.

Monitor Over Time

Watch the graphs for several minutes during normal gameplay. Consistent spikes are more reliable indicators than one-off stutters.
