Find Heavy Block Entities Slowing Down Your World

Access the Block Entities Tab

Open the Node Pulse Monitor and navigate to the Block Entities or Lag Map tab. This view shows which chunks and tile entities are consuming the most resources.

Identify Problem Chunks

The display highlights chunks with heavy block entity loads. Look for red or high-intensity zones on the map—these chunks are doing more work than others. Hover over or select chunks to see exact entity counts and types.

Locate Specific Tile Entities

Expand the block entity list to see individual tile entities sorted by performance impact. Common culprits include furnaces running constantly, redstone contraptions, or modded machines processing items.

Navigate to the Problem Area

Use the coordinates shown in the monitor to travel to the problematic chunk. You can also use the map visualization to see your current position relative to heavy areas.

Optimize or Relocate

Once you've found the entity, either disable it, move it to a separate area, or replace it with a more efficient alternative. Re-check the Block Entities tab after changes to confirm the lag has decreased.
