Keeping Armor Functional

Armor takes constant damage during combat and exploration. No XP Anvils Mod lets you repair enchanted armor pieces repeatedly without the usual XP drain, keeping your protection active.

Repair Enchanted Armor

1. Bring your damaged armor and matching repair materials (leather, iron ingots, diamonds, etc.) to an Anvil

2. Place the armor piece in the left slot

3. Place the repair material in the middle slot

4. The anvil restores durability while preserving all enchantments

5. Take your repaired armor

Strategy for Long Expeditions

When exploring far from your base, carry a stack of your armor's repair material and find or build a temporary anvil. You can repair your Protection, Mending, or Thorns-enchanted gear on demand without losing experience levels. This keeps your defense high and lets you stay out longer. For permanent setups, place an anvil near your base entrance or in a central hub for quick maintenance between adventures.
