Fix Enchanted Books and Combine Them Efficiently

Working with Enchanted Books

Enchanted books are fragile and valuable. With No XP Anvils Mod, you can repair damaged books and combine multiple enchantments onto a single book without experience penalties.

Repair a Damaged Enchanted Book

1. Open an Anvil

2. Place the damaged enchanted book in the left slot

3. Place another copy of the same enchanted book in the middle slot

4. The anvil combines them into one fully-repaired book

5. Collect the result

Combine Multiple Enchantments

1. Place an enchanted book in the left slot

2. Add another enchanted book to the middle slot

3. If the enchantments are compatible, they merge onto a single book

4. Repeat this process to stack multiple enchantments

Practical Use

This workflow is essential for preparing books before applying them to tools. Build a library of combined books (like Sharpness + Knockback, or Protection + Thorns) and apply them to gear as needed. The mod makes this preparation cost-free, so you can organize and optimize your enchantment collection without resource concerns.
