How to Hide the Recipe Book Icon in Your Inventory and Crafting GUI
What the Mod Changes
Once No Recipe Book Mod is installed on your client, the small recipe book button that normally sits beside your inventory and crafting grids is removed entirely. There is no toggle, keybind, or config screen to enable it — the change is automatic the moment the game loads with the mod present. You do not need to press anything or open a menu to activate it.
Confirming It Is Working
1. Launch Minecraft with the mod in your mods folder.
2. Open your player inventory (default key E).
3. Look at the area to the right of your character model and above the crafting grid — the recipe book icon should be gone.
4. Open a crafting table and check the same corner of the GUI.
If the icon is still visible, the mod is not loaded. Check that the file is in the correct mods directory for your loader and that your mod loader is actually loading it. Because this is a client-side mod, it only needs to be on your own game — you do not need it on any server you join, and installing it on a server has no effect on players.
