Setting Up No Pumpkin Blur for PvP and Clean Navigation

Why It Matters for PvP

In player-versus-player combat, screen clarity is everything. The pumpkin blur obscures your peripheral vision, hides incoming players, and makes it hard to track projectiles. Removing it lets you keep full awareness while still wearing a pumpkin if you want its look or its minor protection. Many players use the pack purely so they can wear a pumpkin as a cosmetic without being punished visually.

Recommended Setup

1. Enable the No Pumpkin Blur pack and place it at the top of your selected resource packs.

2. Pair it with a low-fire or clear-water pack if you also want cleaner vision in other situations, but keep No Pumpkin Blur above any pack that touches the pumpkin overlay.

3. Set your FOV and brightness to comfortable values, since the pack only removes the blur and does not change lighting.

4. Test in a safe area by equipping a pumpkin and sprinting, jumping, and looking around quickly.

Navigation Benefits

With the blur gone, you can wear a pumpkin while exploring caves, the Nether, or the End without losing sight of edges, mobs, or hazards. This is especially useful for players who like the pumpkin aesthetic but found the overlay unplayable. The pack changes nothing else, so your other visual settings and mods remain unaffected.
