Rebind Conflicting Keys Without Losing Functionality

Identify Your Conflict

When two actions share the same key binding, one will be blocked. For example, if both "Sneak" and a mod ability use the same key, you'll need alternatives. Open Controls and review which actions are competing.

Add Alternatives Instead of Replacing

Rather than removing the original binding, use this mod to add alternative key combinations to one or both conflicting actions. Keep the original binding intact and assign a new alternative to resolve the conflict. This way, both actions remain accessible.

Test Simultaneous Inputs

Press both conflicting keys at once to verify they now work independently. For example, if you bound both Sneak and a magic ability to the same key, add an alternative binding to one of them—perhaps Right Alt for the ability—so you can sneak while casting.

This approach is safer than removing bindings outright, since you preserve your original muscle memory while gaining flexibility. It's especially useful in modpacks with many overlapping keybinds.
